Students will depart from The Element at 3:45 p.m., traveling by bus or taxi depending on the week. If you are interested in volunteering to help drive students to the hill on nights we need taxis, please indicate this on the attached expression of interest form. We anticipate returning to the school by bus at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Beginner skiers are more than welcome to join and participate in lessons (please note there are no lessons for snowboarding). All skiers and snowboarders are required to participate in a safety and skill assessment at the learning centre on their first visit.
Participating in the club involves the following Camp Fortune fees:
Lift Ticket (including assessment) – $24/night (total cost – $168)
Lesson (1 hour group lesson) Optional – $14/night (total cost – $98)
Ski Rental (Helmet included) Optional – $20/night (total cost – $140)
Transportation fees have been finalized due to number of students who expressed their interest in attending ski club. The final transportation cost is $265.
