With the previously noted potential trip cost total that left $1100 remaining in mind, the students have planned a series of activities and budgeted for food and transportation. Our plan for these funds is that students will carry with them approximately 270 EUR (400 CAD) in cash to cover their food for the week. This will offer them the opportunity to learn how to budget while travelling as well as have the independence to decide the nature of each of their meals. This leaves activities and transportation for which the school will require a final installment of 700 CAD due March 31st. This includes a small buffer amount for incidentals such as exchange rate fluctuations and unforeseen expenses that may occur while on the trip.
